A homepage that argues with your inbox

The teardown

Slack's front door doesn't sell software so much as it sells a verdict on email. The hero leads with the platform pitch and a single high-contrast call to action, set against the plum-and-aubergine brand color and generous whitespace that keep an enormously capable product feeling calm. Below the fold the page does what the rest of the site does — shows the workspace in use, stacks customer logos as proof, and answers the 'why not just email' objection head-on — but the homepage's real move is restraint: one message, one button, a lot of room to breathe.
