Whimsical
A whiteboard that refuses to be a whiteboard — four fixed document types, drag-and-drop wireframe components, and a pitch built entirely on speed.
Most infinite-canvas tools sell the canvas: here is empty space, bring your own discipline. Whimsical sells the opposite. Its product pages barely mention freedom and never stop mentioning speed — "at the speed of thought," "built for speed," "keep you in a state of flow," "get into your flow state." The mechanism behind that claim is constraint: instead of one blank surface, you get named document types (boards, diagrams, flowcharts, mind maps, wireframes), each with its own opinionated component set, so the decision of what to draw is made before you start. Below, three public pages walk from that promise to the tool that proves it to the price list that reveals who is expected to pay.
