A streaming homepage that shows you a top-ten list you cannot open.

The teardown
3,164 pixels, one job, and almost no decoration spent on getting there. The hero is a dimmed collage of box art behind sixty-point type — 'Unlimited movies, TV shows, and more' — with the price and 'Cancel anytime' immediately under it and an email capture immediately under that. Everything below is either proof or reassurance: a numbered Trending Now rail, four flat cards headed More Reasons to Join, a promo bar for the ad-supported tier, and six FAQ rows that answer, in order, what Netflix is, what it costs, where it works, how to cancel, what is on it, and whether it is safe for kids. Then the same email field again, verbatim, before a four-column footer. The page has exactly one idea and repeats it at the top and the bottom; the restraint in between is what makes the repetition read as confidence rather than nagging.
