Allbirds
A calm ecommerce homepage that sells comfort by showing it.

The teardown
The hero splits between a person walking in the shoes and a tight product close-up, pairing the feeling — "Wildly Comfortable. Super Natural." — with the object itself in a single screen. There's no discount banner shouting for attention; the photography is the pitch, and the natural palette telegraphs the brand before you read a word.
Then it does the ecommerce job in order: shop-by-category tiles, a Best Sellers row with real prices and "NEW" flags so you can buy without leaving the homepage, and lifestyle bands — Spring Travel Essentials, Fresh Colors for Spring — that merchandise by occasion rather than by SKU. The page works as a storefront and a lookbook at the same time.
The close is brand, not product: a trio on all-day comfort, sustainability, and earth-based materials, answering the "why this over a cheaper shoe" question a price tag can't. The lesson for a DTC homepage is sequencing — lead with the feeling and the photography, keep the bestseller one click from the fold, and let values carry the premium at the end.
