Samsung Health

Samsung Health is an aggregator first: a home screen of reorderable tiles pulls steps, sleep, heart rate, food, and water into one scroll, with each tile expanding into its own tracking detail. Its reach is the differentiator. It ingests data from Samsung watches, scales, and a wide net of third-party apps, positioning itself as the hub on the Android side. That breadth is also its weakness. The app tries to be a pedometer, a sleep tracker, a workout logger, a meal diary, and a meditation library at once, and the result is a sprawling information architecture where related features sit in unexpected places. Charts are serviceable. Manual logging works but rarely feels like the path the designers most wanted you on.
