Dribbble
A grid with no titles, and the hiring funnel underneath it.
Dribbble's browse page is four columns of untitled thumbnails captioned only by author, likes, and views. Nothing describes a shot, because for visual work the image resolves faster than a title would and every caption line costs a row of the grid. The chrome compresses into one strip — sort, a category rail, a Filters toggle — and opening Filters expands Tags, Color, and Timeframe inline, pushing the grid down instead of covering it, so results stay visible while you narrow. Color-as-a-filter, searchable by hex, only makes sense in a catalog this visual. The quiet move is the scope selector in the search field: flip it from Shots to Designers and the same shell returns hireable people with rates, response times, and ratings. The gallery is the storefront; the directory is the business.
