Bing

A magazine-style results page with a daily photo backdrop and a wide right rail.

Bing treats the search page as editorial real estate. The homepage leads with a full-bleed daily photograph, hotspots layered on top, reframing a utility as a destination. Results lean visual and two-column: a generous right-hand rail carries entity cards, related searches, and rich answers that often run denser than the left column itself. Autosuggest surfaces image thumbnails and structured entities rather than plain text strings. A conversational answer pane sits bolted to the top, a chat surface stitched onto a ranked list. It can feel busier than rivals — more chrome, more panels competing for the eye — but the image-search grid and infinite-scroll gallery remain among the better-organized on the web.
