TYPENORM Pulse Clarity Score
What is the Pulse Clarity Score?
The Pulse Clarity Score is TYPENORM's proprietary metric for measuring the quality and clarity of user experiences across digital products. It gives teams a single, benchmarkable number that reflects how clear, trustworthy, and usable their product is — compared to similar products in their category.
How It's Calculated
The score is derived from a structured audit process covering:
- Navigation clarity and predictability
- Microcopy quality and tone consistency
- Error handling and recovery paths
- Onboarding flow completeness
- Visual hierarchy and information density
- Trust signals and transparency
Each dimension is scored 1–10 and weighted by product type. The final Pulse Clarity Score is a weighted composite on a 0–100 scale.
What the Score Means
- 80–100: Exceptional clarity. Industry-leading UX standards.
- 60–79: Good clarity. Some areas need attention.
- 40–59: Moderate friction. Meaningful improvements available.
- Below 40: High friction. Users are likely struggling.
