TrainingPeaks is structured around the training calendar, where a coach drops planned workouts onto future dates and the athlete's completed files snap into the same slots for side-by-side comparison. The Performance Management Chart distills weeks of load into fitness, fatigue, and form curves, an abstraction that's opaque to beginners but indispensable to anyone periodizing toward a race. Individual workout analysis runs dense: lap tables, power and heart-rate overlays, and zone distributions packed into one scrollable view. The interface prioritizes analytical depth over warmth, and it feels like a spreadsheet that grew charts. The web app carries the real workflow; mobile is a capable companion but visibly secondary, and the learning curve stays steep by design.
