Feedly
The RSS reader that survived Google Reader, now running as a cyber threat intelligence platform with the reader kept alive one nav link away.
Feedly inherited the RSS audience when Google Reader shut down in 2013, and the company that owns the name in 2026 sells something else entirely: 'the AI platform CTI teams use to track threats.' The homepage counts threat actors, CVEs and IoCs. The news reader still exists, still works, and is reached through a button labelled 'Go to News Reader' — a second product on a second URL with copy that has barely moved in a decade. Below: the reader page and its venture-capitalist testimonials, the source directory that still organises the open web by industry and hobby, and a changelog where nearly every entry is tagged Threat Intelligence. Read in order, it's a pivot you can date from the outside.
