Release 0.29

September 30, 2026

Highlights

  • Pulse projects have a real canvas now: sticky notes, shapes, text, arrows that stay attached, a pencil, zoom and pan, undo and keyboard shortcuts
  • School opens: browse courses on /school, read the first lesson of any course without an account, sign in to keep going and pick up where you left off
  • Collective grows Q&A (invite-only beta), tag pages, a live activity feed and an events listing
  • App catalog: iPad captures on their own tab, and curated cohort collections with a side-by-side landing comparison
  • A new pricing page with the Plus waitlist, and rewritten legal pages: Terms of Use, Content & Rights, Privacy Policy

Pulse

  • The project canvas is a full working board: sticky notes, rectangles, ellipses, lines and arrows, plain text, and a freehand pencil.
  • Arrows bind to the elements they connect and follow them when you move things.
  • Text has real settings: color, font family, pixel sizes and alignment.
  • Resize, duplicate, reorder, align and snap elements; undo and redo with the usual keyboard shortcuts.
  • Zoom controls on the board, plus hand-tool and space-drag panning; the select tool draws a selection area.
  • A new sticky or text box takes the cursor at once, and the next sticky lands under the previous one.
  • Name a project when you create it and rename it from the canvas header; the canvas fills the whole viewport.
  • Pull existing Linear issues onto the canvas as ticket nodes, and see a run history for every dispatch.
  • Flows built from an iOS screen recording stay Retina-sharp, and the video-to-flow pipeline only uses zero-data-retention AI providers.

Collective

  • Q&A opens as an invite-only beta: ask questions, answer, accept the best answer, and tag by topic.
  • Accepted answers and answer upvotes count toward your reputation.
  • Tag pages collect everything on one topic, and the feed shows live activity instead of a placeholder.
  • An events listing for the workshops program.
  • Moderation, reports and rate limits are in place, and vote counts are read out by screen readers.
  • Paid-only features carry a Plus badge with a free-versus-Plus comparison; nothing is charged yet.

School

  • The School hub lists courses, and the lesson reader walks you through a course step by step.
  • The first lesson of each course is open to everyone; later lessons need a free account, and you return to the exact spot after signing in.
  • Progress is saved to your account, with a My Courses list and a continue-where-you-left-off shortcut.
  • Lesson images render again.

Labs

  • UX workshops and consulting have their own service page under Labs.

App catalog

  • iPadOS is a platform tab next to iOS and Web, with iPad App Store captures sized from their real aspect ratio.
  • Curated collections: cohort hub pages with attribution and pending members, and a side-by-side landing comparison for each collection.
  • Per-screen and per-flow Plus badges mark gallery content that will be paid; everything stays open for now.

Articles

  • Editorial illustrations are generated in one house style and hand-picked before they go in.

Account and sign-in

  • Sign in with Google works in Safari: authentication is served from the site's own host.

Website

  • A pricing page with Free, Plus and Pro tiers and a Plus waitlist; no prices are shown yet.
  • New Terms of Use and Content & Rights pages, and a rewritten Privacy Policy, linked from the footer and sitemap.
  • Release pages now read as per-product release notes instead of a ticket list.

Platform improvements and internal tooling.
